North Clark County (80 Churches MAP)
Jim Wold, 360-896-6928, reports:
 |
On Wednesday mornings a group of pastors and others in
spiritual leadership roles meet from 7:00 to 8:00 for a time of praise and
prayer. Pastor Jerry Thurston of Life Center Open Bible Church hosts the
Clark County Minister Prayer Fellowship. Currently, the number of people
participating in this fellowship has been around 14 to 18 people. One of the
strengths of this group is unity. There is a real heart felt concern for
each other and a strong desire to see God move significantly in Clark
County. Following the prayer meeting, many of them continue their fellowship
over breakfast at local restaurant. |

The Camas/Washougal Ministerial Association has been meeting
monthly for a time of fellowship and prayer. The pastors rotate hosting
lunches at their churches. For the last several weeks they have also been
meeting weekly at noon on Wednesday for a time of focused prayer,
specifically for the Easter services, National Day of Prayer, (both of which
have come and gone) and Baccalaureate services. Growing unity and love is a
byproduct of these men coming together for prayer. Pastors from the
Conservative Baptist denomination meet monthly at a local restaurant for a
time of fellowship over a meal. They focus on keeping each other informed
with what is going on in there various ministries and personal lives. In
addition to this they have participated in their denominational prayer
summits. |
 |
Pastors from the Evangelical Free Church denomination meet
monthly for about two hours. The pastors take turns hosting a breakfast at
their churches. They enjoy fellowshipping and sharing with each other what
God is doing in their ministries. After the meal and fellowship they have a
time of prayer, addressing the needs in their personal lives and ministry.
In addition to the monthly meetings (or in place of them) they have
participated in a weekend prayer retreat in February, a pastor's and leaders
retreat in March, and their district conference in March. |
