We continued to maintain our prayer and fasting focus since our Pastor's Prayer Summit in February.  We are asking God to guide us so that we might gain the keys to the city.  We are asking that Forest Grove may be transformed in much the same way as Hemet, California was... along with some of the other cities cited in George Otis, Jr's video "Transformations."  

Recently we have had increased numbers of pastors showing up weekly for prayer and encouragement.  I think this is an encouraging thing.  Two weeks ago when I was in California, 13 pastors came together for prayer.  They told me when I came back, "I ought to go away more often."  Last week there were 10.  

On June 12th, we have scheduled a Pastor's Prayer walk of the city of Forest Grove.  We will be praying on sight with insight.  It will start at 8:30am and go to 12:30pm... when we will come together for a lunch.  

We are continuing our Summer Celebration scheduled for August 9-10.  Churches will join together for a combined worship service on a Sunday morning to declare our oneness in Christ to the city.  

We are also committed to putting on an Easter Sunrise Service next year for the community... which will be a first for us.  We have located a cite overseeing the entire Tualatin Valley and can see from Banks, all of Forest Grove, Cornelius, and on to Hillsboro.  We are praying that God will use this event to spur our people to pray for the lost in Western Washington County.  

We have had 17 baptisms (with 4 more scheduled in two weeks) and 9 decisions for Christ since the first of the year.  May the Lord continue to add to His number here in Forest Grove.
