The National Day of Prayer is a nation-wide event that is celebrated each
year in cities throughout the United States on the First Thursday of May. Mission Portland works closely with
James Autry, the NDP-Oregon State
Coordinator to encourage all believers to gather for public and private prayer
meetings on the National Day of Prayer.
