The Deaf Link Network of Mission Portland is coordinated by:  

Boone Sumantri, Director of Deaf Link Network.

The purpose  of the Deaf Link Network is to reach the deaf and hearing impaired for Christ in partnership with Christian churches and ministries.

Deaf Link Network Objectives:

  1. Generate awareness among Christians of the needs and resources of the deaf in their community.

  2. Assist Christians to learn and master sign language.

  3. Encourage Christians to establish social contacts with the Deaf and to understand the Deaf culture.

  4. Foster the habit of hearing Christians to worship occasionally in Deaf churches.

  5. Assist Deaf churches to reach the deaf in their community for Christ.

  6. Partner with Christian churches, CVI, Train & Multiply and other ministries to establish Deaf missions and plant Deaf churches.
